Last month, I had the opportunity to share the stage with Dr. Travis Stork from “The Doctors” television show. We addressed the Human Resource leaders of 100 of the largest companies in the US.
I spoke about the 5 Human Equities – these are:
- Your Brain
- Your Body
- Your Connections
- Your Higher Purpose
- Your Success Ratio
During the talk, I shared a nugget with the audience on how they could use each of these 5 Human Equities to make immediate transformation in their own lives, which is so key to creating an interested culture. Specifically using the 5 Human Equities as a compass, companies have an engaging conversation with employees on what drives the individuals, what the individual employee wants out of life, and how to align corporate vision and mission with individual goals for a symbiotic, long-range relationship.
We ended the talk with a provocative question: Could acknowledging, identifying, and aligning an individual employee’s 5 Human Equities with your company’s vision and mission lead to a competitive advantage for your organization? Their answers were intriguing. What do you think?
